Susan Nettleton is a native Oregonian who grew up in the Milwaukie/Oregon City area, which are suburbs of Portland. She began painting in 1988 and took decorative painting classes for approximately 10 years.  It began as a hobby and escalated into a full time passion.  She went from painting small items on wood to larger surfaces such as walls and furniture. She loves creating art for people to enjoy in their homes and place of business. She attended a faux painting class in july 2006 at the "Faux Finish Institute by Kelly S. King" in Seattle Washington.  She plans to attend more classes in the future to keep up with the new techniques and styles.  She finds it very gratifying to bring peoples walls to life and to help them achieve their own unique style. She get's alot of support from her two children Ashley and Trevor along with her Fiancee', Clint Walker, who assists with the design of each project and the wall painting.
